Durham University PhD Studentships 2027 Funding and the Fee Question
Each studentship includes a tuition fee waiver and a stipend for 3.5 years full-time or 7 years part-time. Durham sets the stipend at the UKRI level. We could not verify the 2027 amount, so no figure is listed here.
Important for Pakistani students: Durham’s Arts and Humanities page for 2026/27 said only one of its eight full studentships was open to overseas students. It also said international candidates for another scheme had to cover the difference between home and international fees.
We could not confirm whether the 2027 awards cover the full international fee. Ask Durham before you plan your finances.
